It’s March and I’m still reaching for my Dudley Stephens fleece turtleneck.  Actually, is there a month I’m not grabbing for a Dudley Stephens fleece to wear?  Not really.  I’m a big fan.  Their Vello Fleece keeps me super warm and cozy during the chilly winter months and the Terry Fleece is the same quality fleece only lightweight.  Making Dudley Stephens fleece perfect to wear year round.

Who is Dudley Stephens

It’s easy to support companies like DS because not only is their fleece ridiculously cozy, they are a small company that does the right thing.   Dudley Stephens is owned by two sisters and they manufacture and design their sustainable fleece line in the US.  Their fleece is made from recycled bottles and their packaging is even recycled!  Their signature fabric; Vello Fleece is super soft, warm and cozy, low maintenance, durable, breathable, wrinkle free and washable.  Do you understand why I’m a huge fan?

Iconic Styles

Recently, Dudley Stephens restocked some of their iconic styles in colors that have been sold out for a while (and some colors are already sold out AGAIN).  If you are struggling with purchasing a super warm fleece this time of year (the Vello Fleece is warm and cozy).  Look at the Terry Fleece which offers a light weight fleece that can easily be worn all four seasons (not as warm but just as cozy).  Here is a quick explanation of some of their iconic and most popular style fleeces for reference before you shop.

Park Slope Turtleneck – hits just below the waist with banded detail and a slightly roomier fit overall.  Looks great untucked or with a half tuck.  I am wearing my normal size small in the pics in this style and would say it fits TTS.  I love mine in black and also adore this style in camel, navy and natural blush.

Cobble Hill Turtleneck – has a much longer cut and looks amazing with skinny jeans or leggings.  It also has two pockets on the sides.  It has a slight bell silhouette for a very flattering fit.  The most popular color in this style is black.  I also love the pink, off white and red colors for this style.

Brighton Boatneck – This is essentially the signature Park Slope with an opened up boatneck.  Perfect for layering!  Classy and chic.  Love this in green, natural blush and island coral.  Big news to set your alarms because there will be a drop happening this Tuesday at 10AM of the boatneck style in spring colors!
