HOW TO REMOVE SPRAY PAINT FROM AN AGGREGATE DRIVEWAY

Made a rookie mistake executing an easy DIY project.  Accidently spray painted the concrete driveway.  It was supposed to be a simple DIY project to paint an old wood gate (to be used to block the stairs in our home so our old, blind, deaf dog doesn’t fall down them).  Set up the DIY spray paint work area away from the house out in the driveway.  Put cardboard down and all, however, completely miscalculated the amount of overspray that would end up getting on the aggregated driveway.  Oops!  Spent the next two days troubleshooting spray paint removal techniques to avoid a DIY disaster.  Here is what ended up working the best.  Thankfully, it was an easy and inexpensive fix!

Oops! Accidently got spray paint all over the driveway!
Even though I put cardboard under the gate to spray paint it, I still made a big mess not realizing the amount of overspray that would get on the aggregate driveway.
I tried many things to remove the spray paint from the aggregate concrete. Nothing worked until....
I found the combo that worked wonderfully to remove the spray paint from the drive and it only cost $11 total! Look! Good as new!
After several failed attempts and chemicals used I finally found what worked! This $7 bottle of Krud Kutter Grafitti Remover and a $4 wire grill brush!

The gate and the driveway are both good as new!
