Fall in Louisville is simply AH-MAY-ZING and it’s sweater weather in the ‘ville. The weather is phenomenal this time of year, the leaves change slowly throughout the season and the crisp air combines perfectly with the sunny days. Louisville never fails to give us a true fall and I didn’t know how much I was missing regarding “true” seasons until I moved here 10 years ago. Living in the north for most of my life I hadn’t really experienced a “true” spring or “true” fall. In the north spring and fall may last a week, two if you’re lucky. This past week I’ve talked to both family and friends in Chicago and Michigan and they’ve all told me that it’s already snowed up there! No thank you! Louisville’s fall weather has been perfect this year and I’m enjoying every day of it especially when I can where all my favorite sweaters without having to even think about digging out the winter coats yet. Its sweater weather in the ‘ville and here are two of my all time favorites.
