It’s been a hot minute since I put together a style post for the blog. Partly because I have zero desire to stand outside and try to get a few decent pictures in this crazy cold weather. Also, I have several home remodeling and refresh projects I’m currently working on that has taken all my free time. I recently came across some pictures taken earlier this winter of my most comfortable pair of boots that I never posted. I also realized today they are on sale right now! Perfect time for a quick review of the Madewell Carlotta tall boots.

I have these in the short version too but let‘s just concentrate on the tall ones today. They come in two colors: Black and the color I have English Saddle. I LOVE THESE BOOTS. If you are looking for a tall boot with a heel that are out of the box comfortable then these are for you! They are so comfortable that you forget you are wearing a boot with a stacked heel. I love that I can get some height wearing these boots and do not have to compromise my comfort. I originally ordered my normal size but had some issue making the turn to get my foot in so I returned and got 1/2 size up from my normal size and perfection. These boots have no zipper (which I prefer the no hardware look). I also tend to wear thicker socks with these in the winter time and definitely recommend to size up 1/2 size.
