What two things pair perfectly together? How about winter and sweater dresses! Sweater dress style is versatile, warm and can be easily worn from day to night depending on how you style yor look. Sweater dresses are comfortable, smart and age appropriate for us inbetweeners. Plus, a sweater dress style is easily put together with little to no effort when you keep in mind some of the following styling factors:
Cowl Neck – Can be worn dressed up with boots or casual with a pair of sneakers. Cowl neck sweaters are cozy, warm and stylish. Going with a sweater dress in a neutral color offers lots of options for perfect winter wear and looks great at any age. Puff Sleeve – Sweater dresses with a puff sleeve details brings a fancy and slightly dramatic look in the mix. Puff sleeves tend to be more slimming since the eye is drawn to the dramatic. Go casual – pair with some sneakers and a tee underneath. Best to wear sneaker with a light-colored sweater dress. This look achieves a cute and comfortable every day vibe.
Go classic with boots – boots of any height, color or heel are pretty much safe to wear with most sweater dresses. Boots and sweater dresses are a classic combo.
Layer – consider smart layering whenever you can! Another layer can be added under or over sweater dress. Show off your creativity in a loose sweater dress over a pair of tights or jeans. Or add a pop of preppy with a collared shirt under or cardigan over sweater dress.
