This week it’s all about finishing the much needed updates to the website and packing for our hiking trip next week. Of course, I still have plenty of time to on-line shop for updating my fall wardrobe. Much of what I have are classic pieces and easily wearable season after season so I don’t need much. Here are a few items that have jumped out at me so far this year. This week‘s finds 9/29.
Isn’t this so pretty. It has a Chanel feel to it for me. Has some heft with a heavier weight and a looser fit. I’ve ordered this in cream. The black isn’t a true black (more dark gray). Will be perfect for Louisville fall weather.
How cute are these washable and very comfortable Rothy loafers! I’ve got my eye on this style and print for this fall.
This is one of my classic J Crew closet staples. Mid length (covers bum) so perfect to wear with leggings. So versatile. Wear belted or loose. Perfect for inside or out. I bought this last year and it is big. Suggest sizing down.
I LOVE THIS COAT! This is one of those items that I long for year after year. I had this in my pre-sale wish list during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but it was sold out by the time my window opened to shop. SO BUMMED! I absolutely love this classic, preppy and iconic jacket.
How great is this puffer jacket in this color! I can just see wearing it this fall with some of my navy striped tops and sweaters. SOOOOO cute!
All of my jeans are pretty comfortable. I have two pair that really stand out in comfort. The roadtripper jeans are one of them. Lightweight and stretchy. Definitely road trip approved!
I’ve seen a similar pair by UGG for three times the cost. This is a great less expensive alternative for a cute and cozy house slipper. Only comes in whole sizes so if you’re in between sizes then size up.
There are a ton of dupes of these shoes out there but if you are gonna have them, ya gotta go with the the originals! You won’t get the tumbled leather and chamois flannel liner with a dupe!
I absoutely love everything about this midi dress. The length, the fit, the color (would only go with the black here). Imagine with a pair of brown booties. Yes!

The juliette and sophie are my two go to sweaters. Perfect for layering and in between weather. This is first time I’ve seen this chevron pattern and color on the Sophie open front sweater. Love.

I’ve got a few of these super cozy styles and they are what they say. Super cozy. Versatile and easy to wear with just about anything dressy or casual.
I have this sweatshirt in green and gray. I like that i can adjust the neck by wearing buttoned or not. Have my eye on this in white. They also came out with same a tunic style of this sweatshirt this year if you like a looser fit verses a traditional sweatshirt fit.
