The Barbour Beadnell Polarquilt jacket is classic and timeless and living in Louisville, KY I can wear all fall and spring and most of winter. It’s cozy warm and the coat I grab walking out the door 80% of the time. Barbour is a British luxury brand that manufactures outerwear, footwear, clothing & accessories. I’ve had my eye on the quilted jackets for some time and after researching the styles and try-ons I finally decided to go with the Beadnell Polarquilt and I’m so happy with my decision!
It’s a casual jacket with a quilted design and is fleece lined making it very warm yet it’s unexpectedly lightweight. The slightly tapered fit makes it slimming which is always a bonus! The length hits just below the hips so it looks great worn over all my shirts, tops and sweaters. The jacket is easy to care for as it’s machine washable and has a ton of pockets too!
Be careful with the sizing on this jacket! Size 2-6 runs small. Size 8 is TTS (true to size) and size 10 and up runs a little big. I’m wearing the jacket in a US size 6.
I decided to buy the Barbour Beadnell Polarquilt in navy (if you know me that is not surprising). The jacket comes in many colors but navy coordinates the best with most shoes and clothes in my closet.
Nordstrom has many Barbour jackets to choose from. All of them refined and classic in their design and style. Check out these styles that also caught my eye: Barbour Beadnell Waxed Cotton Jacket (a rugged version of the quilted jacket), Barbour Calvary Fleece Lined Jacket (a slimmer silhouette), Barbour Constable Quilted Longline Jacket (a longer version), Barbour Wray Fleece Lined Vest, Barbour Millfire Hooded Quilted Jacket, Barbour Annandale Quilted Jacket (relaxed fit & love the color Doe Skin in this one)!
