J CREW FACTORY LEOPARD PRINT FAVES

One  /  Two  /  Three  /  Four  /  Five Six  /  Seven  /  Eight  /  Nine  /  Ten

I have to say that J Crew Factory has been killing it this fall.  I used to be a shop J Crew first and J Crew Factory second kind of girl.  But when they closed the J Crew store in Louisville (that was walking distance from my house no less) I started shopping the factory store more often.  I have not been disappointed.  The prices are certainly better and I’ve learned to spot the better quality clothes.  I think their clothes this season have been off the chart great quality.  Sure, I still come across an itchy sweater, a stiff pair of jeans or a top with a cheap blend material but if you follow the blog I’ve got you covered and will steer you clear from putting anything like that in your shopping cart (see the NOT WINNERS below).  Currently, I’m all about the leopard print for fall and J Crew Factory’s version of the leopard pattern works in so many ways!  It has great colors (they go with everything) and the print is not too busy or “wild”.  Kind of funny that the leopard print is not wild!  It’s perfectly tame actually!  LOL.  So here are my J Crew Factory leopard print faves that are all winners in my book.  BTW 50-70% off everything online and in store and additional 60% off clearance (use code JINGLE).  If you order online free shipping for orders over $75.

Winners

  1.  Leopard fuzzy scuff slippers –  I have these in the natural color (comes in hot pink too!) and they are comfeee!  Easy slide on slipper with rubber sole and fuzzy inside and out.  Warm and cushiony.  I bought the moccasin style slippers also but these are way more comfy.
  2. Leopard wide leg cropped Jamie pant  – Comfortable, chic, dressy yet casual (love this).  Relaxed fit and a great style for curvy gals.  Two of my favorite words when it comes to pants: elastic waist (YAASSS)!!  I wear with black sweater and booties for an super easy classic and stylish look.
  3. Leopard puff sleeve top in stretch cotton poplin – This is on clearance for only $12!  It’s a summer stock piece (when I bought it).  I wore this top all summer and am continuing to wear it into the fall.  It has a flattering fit with a slight poof in the sleeves that dresses it up a bit.  The material is a little on the thin side (it was sold for summer) but considering the price that is easy to overlook if buying in the fall.
  4.   Leopard sweater dress – This dress is adorable!  I wear with OTK boots or boots and leggings.  It hits at the knee (don’t let the 7 ft tall model fool ya cuz it looks like a mini on the model.  It’s not).  It’s a great inbetweener respectable length.  Warm too.  This is an all around winner!
  5. Leopard faux fur pom pom hat – Looking for a perfect gift idea for that fashion forward friend.  Here it is.
  6. Leopard jacquard pullover sweater – this is going to sell out fast.  Great quality, great weight and goes great with jeans or dress up with some black pants.
  7. Leopard calf hair belt – Not totally committed to the leopard print?  Dip your toe in the pond with this belt.  Just a hint of the fun print to add a little pizazz to your look.  Not too wide or too thin.  Go ahead, try it!
  8. Leopard 9″ high rise skinny jeans with button fly – Love a closet staple that can be dressed up or down.  These are it.  Super skinny straight leg fit.
  9. Leopard open cardigan – A piece in my closet that gets a lot of use.  Again, easy to dress up or down and wear with jeans or over a dress.  Love it!
  10. Zoe leopard calf hair d’orsey flats – I’ve never met a d’orsey style shoe I haven’t loved.  Want to elevate a pair of plain jeans and a sweater.  Slip these on.  Instant wow factor.  Not going to say these are the most comfortable shoe in my closet (I give them a 7 out of 10 on comfort but a 10 out of 10 for cuteness)!

Not winners

  1. The leopard tie waist shirt dress in cotton poplin – dress is low quality and very thin.  I ordered, received, tried on and immediately returned.
  2. Road trip sneakers with calf hair trim – Very uncomfortable shoe.  I accept shoes that need a little break in time.  Not sure these shoes are even “breakable”.  Very stiff and sizing is way off and they run very large.
