I predominantly carry a tote bag style purse for everyday use. Since I don’t change up style very often I tend to buy tote purses from varying designers and in different colors for variety. I usually buy above average quality bags (almost always leather) that are timeless and classic. Hopefully ensuring the bags will be stylish for years to come. That is the case with the Michael Kors Jet Set tote that I purchased a few years ago. The Michael Kors Jet Set tote has been a top seller of the company for years and I see why. It’s not too big or too small but is very roomy. It has some structure, a zip top for security and isn’t wide so it doesn’t fit uncomfortably when carrying it on the shoulder. I don’t like my bag to stick out too far from my side when I carry it on my shoulder. This popular style also comes in many colors making it easy to find one that suits your personality. I chose mine in a warm orange color with beige straps and carry it late summer into the fall and love it this time of year!

One of my favorite features of this tote is the exterior side pockets on both ends. I place my keys and phone in those pockets for quick and easy access. When carrying larger bags it’s always frustrating to search for keys that have gotten lost somewhere in the bottom of a large tote. This is a good size bag that measures 16.5″ wide x 11″ tall with a diameter of 4.75″. It’s roomy and larger than it appears. It also has four interior slip pockets and one large interior zipped pocket. Along with double drop handles and a zipper closure top which is great for security. The gold logo charm is detachable. As I mentioned, mine is an older version (called the Pebble Leather Jet Set East West Tote). They no longer sell this exact version but you may be able to find second hand ones on sites like eBay, Poshmark or the RealReal. The newer Jet Set totes have more structure (stiffer) and the interior consist of a center zip pocket, 8 slip pockets and a wall zip pocket. New or old this is a great tote that can be used as a purse or a work bag so lots of options to use it time and time again over the years.
