A month ago I wrote a blog reviewing the J Crew high-rise pull on Peyton wide leg lace pants (I have them in black – see the post here). When they went on sale, I went back for another pair because I simply love them. This time I purchased the color spicy jade. There are three reasons why I can’t help but to write a second post on styling these J Crew lace pants. They are versatile and easy to style in different ways, unbelievably comfortable and simply stunning. They deserve the extra recognition.
Don’t Make a Big Mistake
You may shy away from purchasing these lace pants because you will think to yourself “where am I going to wear these fancy lace pants?” BIG MISTAKE! These pants are versatile, so comfortable and very flattering. You will wear them over and over and over again dressed up AND down.
The Details
They are a wide leg ankle pant making them easily worn with every shoe in your closet from tennis shoes to heels to boots! The detailed scalloped eyelash hem is simply beautiful. It’s the small details that give these pants a sophisticated pop of style that any eagle-eyed fashionista’s can appreciate. Did I mention yet that they have an elastic-back waist! Making these pants every bit as comfortable as wearing pajama bottoms. They also have two large side pockets that are big and useful. The pants run big and you should size down. However, if you like a looser and roomier fit then stick with your own size.
Styling
To show how easy these pants are to style, here are three different looks from informal to formal. The pants are so versatile they look great worn relaxed and casual with a pair of tennis shoes to smart casual with boots and accessories to dressed up when you slip on a pair of heels. Any look you want to achieve can be pulled off in style with the versatile, classy and super comfortable J Crew high-rise pull on Peyton wide leg lace pant. Available in black, spicy jade and harvest red. Currently on sale here.
